Well, today is a great day for us as we have finally finished implementing our new collision system that uses physx, but we have also fixed several key bugs one of which deals with how the client handles the camera. For some upcoming updates we are working some optimization to the client to make zones run more smooth.

So we've fallen short on our funding so we decided to do a fundraiser. We have found a fundraiser to where you can shop at your favorite online stores and purchase items at the retail price and pay and a percentage of what you pay is donated to the Shadowed Lands project! Take a look

So we have run multiple test on the game and have now come up with our minimum and suggested system requirements. So based on these ask for new christmas presents to meet these specs.

The minimum system requirements are for Shadowed Lands are:


Operating System: Windows 2000/ME/XP/Vista
Processor: 1GHz
RAM: 1 GB
Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible. Pixel shader and vertex shader compatible hardware with 64 MB of texture memory
Sound Card: DirectSound compatible audio hardware

The recommended system requirements are:

Operating System: Windows XP/Vista
Processor: 2 GHz or greater
RAM: 2 GB
CD-ROM: 16x CD-ROM or DVD-ROM
Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible. Pixel shader and Vertex shader compatible hardware with 128mb of texture memory or greater
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Audigy
